Tapestries - The Master and Margarita

Pavel Orinyansky is, perhaps, the most famous illustrator of Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita". Each chapter of the novel is preceded by a picture. Orinyansky's graphics were the basis for the tapestry in collection. A great number of samples were made during production testing led to the best interpretation of the graphics that Alexander's Collection offered to the author of the project to exhibit as part of Russia-UK-France Year of Culture, which was supervised and participated in by S. Bezrukov on the Russian side and Daniel Radcliffe (one of the sponsors of the Bulgakov Museum in Moscow) on the Western side. The Bulgakov Museum supported this idea. The collection's exhibition is intended to be an interactive theatrical charity performance.
